Display for February 2014

In creating a display that would honor African-Americans, I wanted to highlight women and especially women who might not have been heard of in the regular course of events.  Some are famous heroines, some are unsung but all persevered through courage, self-esteem and encouragement.  Please enjoy the display, read about these incredible women who are role models for us all and appreciate the struggle it took for them to succeed.
